Information Collection

Roga collects information in two ways:

1. Personal information. Roga collects personal information that you enter into data fields on the Rogalife.com website. For example, you may submit your name, postal address, email address, and/or other information to receive information about various subjects, register for Roga programs, contact Roga customer service, or respond to Roga surveys. To protect your privacy, you should not provide Roga with any information that is not specifically requested.
2. Passive unidentifiable information. When you are visiting this site, certain anonymous information can be passively collected (that is, gathered without your actively providing the information) using various technologies, such as cookies, Internet tags or web beacons, and navigational data collection (log files, server logs, clickstream). Your Internet browser automatically transmits to this site some of this anonymous information, such as the URL of the website you just came from and the Internet Protocol (IP) address and the browser version your computer is currently using. This site may also collect anonymous information from your computer through cookies and Internet tags or web beacons. You may set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent or to refuse cookies altogether, but certain features of this site might not work without cookies. Collecting and Using Personal information

Except as otherwise stated, we may use information collected via this site to improve the content of our site, to customize the site to your preferences, to communicate information to you (if you have requested it), for our marketing and research purposes, and for any other purpose specified. In addition, we may make full use of all information acquired through this site that is not in personally identifiable form.

If you provide personally identifiable information to this site, we may combine such information with other actively collected information unless we specify otherwise at the point of collection. We may disclose personally identifiable information you provide via this site to other Roga affiliates worldwide that agree to treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and use it for the same purposes. We also may disclose personally identifiable information you provide via this site to third parties that are not Roga affiliates, but only:

1. To contractors we use to support our business (such as fulfillment services, technical support, delivery services, and financial institutions), in which case we will require such third parties to agree to treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and use it for the same purposes.
2. In connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of this site to which the information relates, in which case we will require any such buyer to agree to treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy and use it for the same purposes.
3. To respond to law enforcement requests or where required by applicable laws, court orders, or government regulations. The collection, use, and disclosure of information contemplated in this Privacy Policy may involve a transfer of the information to jurisdictions located outside your country of residence that may not have equivalent laws and rules regarding personally identifiable information. In these cases, you will be asked to consent to such transfers and disclosures in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Opt Out Choices

To opt out of receiving communications from Roga (except for communications necessary for your use of the site), having your personally identifiable information disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes, or any other consent previously granted for a specific purpose concerning your personally identifiable information, send an email to Roga at [email protected].

Privacy of Children

This site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information via this site from visitors in this age group.

Deletion

You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity (see below under the heading of “Exercising your Rights to Know or Delete”), we will review your request to see if an exception allowing us to retain the information applies. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a Service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
Comply with relevant law, including the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).
Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information's deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research's achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
Comply with a legal obligation.
Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
We will delete or de-identify Personal Information not subject to one of these exceptions from our records and will direct our service providers to take similar action. Please note that it may take up to 45 days to delete your Personal Information

Exercising your rights to opt-out, know or delete

To exercise your rights to opt-out, know, or delete described above, please submit a request by:

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request to opt-out, know or delete related to your personal information. To designate an authorized agent, you should follow the procedures required by the agent; we will then verify whether they are sufficient to meet our obligations under law.

You may only submit a request to know twice within a 12-month period. Your request to opt-out, know or delete must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative and describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days. If you do not receive confirmation within the 10-day timeframe, please contact Roga Life Customer Service at [email protected].

We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding our receipt of your request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Roga reserves the right to amend this privacy policy without prior notice to reflect technological advancements, legal, and regulatory changes and good business practices. Please check back periodically, and especially before you provide any personally identifiable information. This privacy policy was last updated on October 7, 2019 and is effective as of that date.
